Meghalaya cricketer Akash Chaudhary revealed that a simple message from his coach gave him the freedom to play aggressively, leading to a record-breaking performance in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group match against Arunachal Pradesh. The 25-year-old smashed an 11-ball half-century, including eight consecutive sixes, showcasing his explosive batting skills.
“The coach asked us to attack so we could declare quickly,” Akash said. “It gave me the license to play freely. I was lucky with my shots, but I always give 100% on the field.”
